Alice Cole, Secretary

Ms. Alice Cole is an educator and employment and training professional. She taught for six years in the Baltimore City Public School System before moving on to an administrative position. She has worked for 35 years supervising and managing collaborative programs and projects between Baltimore City Public Schools and the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development designed to help youth make a successful transition from school to career. She worked 22 years with the Maryland State General Assembly through State Senator Nathaniel McFadden until January 1, 2019.

Cole has served as a consultant across the country helping other youth programs enhance their service delivery. She has been a presenter at numerous local and national conferences on a broad range of topics such as program performance, advisory board development, collaboration, youth development and workforce development strategies.

Cole received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland and her Masters of Education Degree from Towson University, Towson, Maryland. She has completed postgraduate courses at both Morgan and Towson universities. Additionally, she holds a Maryland State Advanced Professional Certificate in Administration and Supervision and has an Administrator II endorsement. Cole has also completed many professional training programs including the Dale Carnegie Sales and Marketing Course. Cole is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations.
