Mr. James A. Dow

James A. Dow is CEO of Urban Solutions/On the Right Track Racing, LLC. Dow worked for the Maryland Division of Corrections and retired after 23 years of service at the rank of lieutenant. He worked for Justice Resources after retirement, a private company contracted with the Department of Juvenile services as an Advocate Supervisor overseeing case managers who worked with juveniles that were under the jurisdiction of the courts. Dow worked for the Baltimore Department of Social Services in the Homeless Environmental Services Unit, and later, a housing counselor for Day Springs, a nonprofit company that provides housing and case management for women with children who had substance abuse issues.

Dow received an A.A. Degree from Catonsville Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Coppin State University, Baltimore, Maryland. Dow was project manager for Crossroads for juveniles awaiting trials. He later created the On the Right Track Racing Program to give youth guidance on how to focus on their future. His passion is music, playing saxophone in several bands since seventh grade.
